Chintan has over five years of experience in designing, executing and leading NIH and industry funded R&D programs to advance and further characterize industry-recognized rodent and nonhuman primate disease models. Chintan is responsible for management and execution of pre-clinical studies and model development for ophthalmic programs, closely interacting with sponsors to apply Virscio’s translational platform and capabilities to the design and execution of studies tailored to program needs. Chintan completed a BS in biomedical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a PhD with honors in vascular biology and a post-doctoral fellowship in retinal neurovascular disease modeling at Augusta University.
